The Pemba Beach Hotel Located in Bazaruto on Wimbe Beach only 4 kms from the airport, The Pemba Beach Hotel is a great place to stop overnight on the way to one of the islands. With a total of 60 rooms, the hotel has great views over a large infinity pool and over the bay infront.
With all the services of a Westernised Business hotel (televisions , mini- bars etc etc) every need is catered for; all rooms face the sea, all have private balconies and the restaurant does serves some great food. There is a conference room and a boardroom suitable for up to 200 guests. The fact of the matter however is that it is a business hotel; only a matter of years ago the main road ran through what is now a landscaped front lawn complete with palm trees and and a really great looking swimming pool - its a good effort to create a business hotel in Pemba but the reality is that if you have come this far to appreciate something truly special on your holiday then the Pemba Beach Hotel is not for you; it is simply not built for you.

It is a good place to explore Pemba from, relax for a night and fly out the following morning to one of the islands that you have really come here for. Hopefully you will not have to go back.
